Classroom Population

Sand Paths Academy serves students with the following disabling conditions - Emotional Disturbance, Learning Disabled, Mild Cognitive Impairment, and Other Health Impaired/ADHD. We are no longer able to serve students with Autism or Moderate Cognitive Impairment, as we no longer have a classroom for students with Moderate to Severe Disabilities.

All students in our program are placed into small groups by grade level. High School students rotate through the program to different teachers for each subject, just as they would in a public school setting. Our Middle School students are in a self-contained class for their academic classes, but go to the Art Room for Art and into the community for PE.

We strive to bring out our students' creativity.
